About

You Belong in Weather is a program for high school juniors belonging to marginalized groups, more specifically, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color and women of any race. This program will equip them with the knowledge and skills they will need to not only successfully complete a degree in meteorology, but to also give them the power to stand up to the system that works against them. There will be lessons in meteorology and college preparation along with discussions on how to persist when these issues arise.
